Pole Awards for Barnesville Sunday Qualifying

Sunday morning’s qualifying round at the second round of the AKRA / Vega USA American Sprint Cup Series will carry some extra importance at Lamar County Speedway April 29-May 1 as AKRA has posted cash pole awards for eight classes.

Based off class entries at the season opener last month at Carolina Motorsports Park, AKRA will award pole winners in three classes a $100 bonus while five other classes will race for $50 bonuses to win the pole.

TaG Cadet Unrestricted, 206 Cadet and 206 Senior Heavy were the best-attended classes at Kershaw. Sunday Pole Award winners in these three classes will earn a $100 cash bonus.

A $50 bonus will be awarded to Pole Award winners in five other classes Sunday – 206 Kid Kart, TaG Cadet Restricted, 206 Junior, 206 Senior Medium and 206 Masters.

These cash bonuses will be presented in addition to the traditional Pole Award medallions, which are award to every class’s pole winner.

Antley Racing Posts $100 Pole Award for Senior Pro Gas Animal

Josh and Aly Antley of Antley Racing have stepped up to post a $100 pole award for Senior Pro Gas Animal at Barnesville next weekend.  Each day’s (Saturday and Sunday) pole winner in Pro Gas will win a $50 bonus, courtesy of Antley Racing.
