AKRA American Sprint Cup events will follow Cup Series rules unless stated otherwise on event supplemental rules.
AKRA Sprint Age Rule:
A driver’s actual age as of December 31 of the previous year establishes the driver’s competition age for the racing season.
Example 1: A driver turns 15 on August 1, 2024. This driver is permitted to race in the Senior category at any time during the 2024 season.
Example 2: A driver turns 7 years old on December 31, 2024. This driver is permitted to race in the Cadet category at any time during the 2024 season.
Example 3: A driver turns 11 years old on February 1, 2024. This driver is allowed to race in the Restricted TaG Cadet class (age 7 to 10) because he/she was 10 years old on December 31, 2024.
